SX33 Sarracenia x 'Reptilian Rose' (H237, MK)

A well-regarded Sarracenia hybrid created by Phil Faulisi in the 2000s. This plant is the result of a complex hybridization between a Sarracenia oreophila "Sand Mountain" and a Sarracenia x moorei 'Royal Ruby'.

It is a heavily veined plant with a hooked lip once the pitchers are fully mature.

On this plant, the spring pitchers tend to be more robust and more colorful than later pitchers.

As the pitchers age, they gain their pink/rosy color.

This hybrid is officially registered with the ICPS.
