Collection: Dionaea muscipula

Dionaea muscipula , more commonly known as the Venus flytrap , is an iconic and fascinating carnivorous plant, prized for both its beauty and its unique trapping mechanism. Its jaw-like leaves snap shut in a fraction of a second to capture insects. This plant so intrigued Charles Darwin that he described it as "one of the most wonderful plants in the world," dedicating part of his research to studying it.

Beyond the type species, Dionaea muscipula comes in a multitude of cultivars selected for their shapes, teeth, spectacular colors or the impressive size of their traps.

Due to some damage not visible on the surface but present on the pseudobulbs of the Venus flytraps this winter, sales are suspended until the plants have been diagnosed and completely repotted. Thank you for your understanding.
