Dionaea muscipula "Antonov 225" is a cultivar that can easily be classified as a giant Venus flytrap. A prostrate shape, traps of nearly 6 cm, and a lot of vigor characterize this plant, which is a behemoth in its category. Its name refers to the Antonov An-225 Mriya, one of the largest wide-body aircraft in the world (the longest and heaviest). Unfortunately, the only example of this aircraft was destroyed in 2022 by the Ukrainian war.
