SX25b Sarracenia x "Dionysos"

A complex Sarracenia hybrid "made in TerreAcrocs".

When mature, Sarracenia ‘Dionysos’ produces elegant pitchers that can exceed 70 cm in height when grown outdoors. The young traps open green with slight red veining, then quickly color up to become uniformly bright red over almost the entire tube. The operculum, light yellow-green, features strongly contrasted pinkish-red veining. It is slightly drooping and accented by a well-defined spur. The peristome retains a hue close to that of the operculum, contrasting with an intensely bright red throat.
The combination of its vibrant red coloration, marked contrasts, and elegant habit clearly distinguishes this cultivar from other red hybrids. To my knowledge, few hybrids currently in collections present a comparable appearance.

The growth is quite spreading and the plant produces numerous pitchers throughout the season.

This plant is scheduled for official registration during the year 2026.
