DM15 Dionaea muscipula -- 'Dracula'

A lovely Dionaea acquired as a registered cultivar 'Dracula'. This plant has all the characteristics of 'Dracula':

• Arched traps
• The red outer line
• A prostrate form with a few traps erected throughout the season.
• Toothed teeth ("dentate" shape) with some small teeth
• A dark red color including on the teeth.

but is not traceable as to its origin. In addition, certain characteristics, particularly colouring, depend enormously on the growing conditions.

This cultivar is officially registered with the ICPS.

Reminder: The vast majority of Dionaea 'Dracula' that have been circulating for years are not in reality the "true" registered cultivar but unofficial cultivars that are very similar. These plants, which are quite similar in terms of their characteristics, have been widely distributed by unscrupulous, lacking in rigor or sometimes ignorant sellers.

It might be difficult to certify having the true cultivar without having obtained the plant directly from its creator or from someone who obtained it directly from its creator.
